In an industry where precision, speed, and insight define success, the integration of AI into sourcing workflows is becoming a true competitive advantage. Tools like HelloSky and Ezekia are bridging the gap between data and decision-making, allowing firms to operate with greater clarity and confidence. This collaboration not only streamlines the search process but also elevates the consultant’s role—freeing up time for deeper client engagement and strategic thinking. Candidate Research and Data Accuracy

“The integration between Ezekia and HelloSky enhances candidate research and data accuracy,” said Max Woolger, head of growth at Ezekia. “It complements and enhances the process. Before you were limited to your own database and LinkedIn, now you can access anything on the web plus your own database.”

“And given the way HelloSky operates, you have an extremely broad search capability, looking at candidates that may have their information on any number of sites and HelloSky has paid for various subscriptions so it can go beyond numerous paywalls to access even more information,” Mr. Woolger said. “And then marrying this with its AI-enabled searching modules, helps you then locate the candidates/people that you need.”

HelloSky Announces $5.5 Million Oversubscribed Seed Round, Crosses $1 Million ARR and Expands Executive Team

HelloSky (formerly Skyminyr), a talent intelligence platform purpose-built for the executive search industry, has closed a $5.5 million oversubscribed seed round. The raise includes participation from Caldwell Partners, Karmel Capital, True, Hunt Scanlon Ventures and prominent angel investors from Google and Cisco Systems.

“As competition for executive talent escalates, organizations will increasingly turn to recruiting partners leveraging AI-driven platforms to gain a strategic edge,” said Scott A. Scanlon, CEO and co-founder of Hunt Scanlon Ventures. “They will lean on recruiters who can tap into precision talent platforms like HelloSky to integrate candidate identification, behavioral analytics, sector mapping, and human capital intelligence all in one place,” he said. “For executive recruiters this means shorter cycle times, more mandates, and unprecedented growth opportunities.”

So how does the partnership ensure data privacy and compliance when aggregating and analyzing candidate information across multiple sources? “As soon as they go in to Ezekia, they are auto enrolled in to the GDPR workflow that sits in Ezekia,” Mr. Woolger said. “So wherever HelloSky finds the candidate, once you add it to Ezekia, it is then subject to Ezekia’s market leading GDPR engine. Ezekia’s compliance process is not affected by candidate source.”

“I believe as AI power develops, the reliance on LinkedIn might decrease,” said Mr. Woolger. “However Microsoft may improve and augment LinkedIn! AI is currently being heavily used in research. I expect in the future we will see it being applied and adopted more smartly when it comes to business development.”

“Ezekia is already thinking about that from an interactions standpoint; understanding relationships using touchpoints to decipher their quality,” Mr. Woolger continued. “However, in the future I think AI may be rolled further up the funnel here to show people and firms which contacts are worth pursuing given the work you have done, mutual relationships and much more.”
