Reffett Associates Recruits COO for HAC

May 17, 2016 – Executive search firm Reffett Associates has placed Marc Jones as chief operating officer of HAC, Inc., parent of Homeland Grocery Stores. This is a new position within the organization.
The search was conducted by Reffett Associates team members Angel Rodriguez, managing director of the firm’s Dallas office, and Marshall Reffett, managing director in its Seattle office.
Mr. Jones previously served as chief merchandising and supply chain officer of Greensboro, NC-based The Fresh Market. Before that he was the company’s senior vice president of marketing and merchandising for six years and its VP of non-perishables and private label for three years. In addition, he also worked for private brand marketer Daymon Worldwide for seven years in multiple locations nationally and internationally. [Daymon recently lost its chief human resources officer (CHRO), Tami Polmanteer, to Aleris Corporation. Global search firm, Allegis Partners, led that assignment].
“I am pleased to announce the addition of Marc Jones to our senior management team,” said Darryl Fitzgerald, HAC president and chief executive officer. “He is a very experienced industry executive with a strong background in marketing, merchandising, team development and operations. He is an energetic, intelligent and inspiring leader.”
