Shannon Carlson

Shannon is a Principal in the Private Equity practice, where she specializes in private equity fund operating groups, transformational leadership, and talent roles.   

Prior to joining Beecher|Reagan, Shannon built out the Talent function at Platinum Equity, supporting portfolio companies across a $20B portfolio in driving value through organizational and leadership strategies, executive hiring, intellectual capital initiatives, and scaling a robust Portfolio Operations & Transformation Team.  Shannon has a diverse background in roles impacting value through growth, transformation, and scalability for firms experiencing rapid growth or change, including Head of People at a high-growth firm, Organizational Consultant through the transformation of a global finance firm following the 2008 crisis, and as a consultant for a variety of start-ups and global services firms.  She had an early career in investment banking and wealth management.    

Shannon is a board member of the National Human Resources Association and has been involved in impactful organizations such as TEDx and EmpowHer Institute.  She obtained an MBA from Pepperdine University and bachelors in Finance and Psychology from Southern Methodist University.
