Maggie Mayes

Maggie Mayes works in collaboration with clients and candidates to support a personalized and transparent search process in her role as an executive search consultant. Mayes possesses deep knowledge of higher education and exceptional research skills in finding uniquely qualified candidates for executive leadership roles. Before joining Greenwood/Asher & Associates, Maggie taught at Central Michigan University’s School of Broadcast & Cinematic Arts. Through her ten years of teaching experience, Maggie has built strong networks and valuable context that supports success in her role as an executive search consultant.

Maggie holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Colorado State University and a master’s degree in Broadcast & Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University. Currently, as a Ph.D. candidate in the Educational Leadership Program at Central Michigan University, Maggie is ABD. Her dissertation topic, News Media Literacy and Civically Engaged College Students, combines her passions for higher education and media.
