About Ed

Ed Coombs is a consultant in Caldwell’s Private Equity & Venture Capital Practice, also working with the Industrial Practice with a focus on renewable energy, cleantech and mobility, based in London. Ed has executed searches and advisory projects at board level for organisations across a diverse range of sectors, geographies and scale.

Experience

Ed began his executive search career at Odgers Berndtson, working as a generalist, supporting the delivery of searches across several practices and functions, before working closely with the Head of the People & Culture Practice, on CHRO and broader HR leadership roles. Ed then joined a boutique, specialising in pre-deal advisory and C-suite portfolio search, exclusively for private equity clients across the UK & Europe.

Education

Ed is a graduate of the University of the West of England Bristol, with a first-class degree in International Business. He also holds an Executive Education Programme certification in private equity, from Imperial Business School.
