Raines International Appoints Chief Marketing Officer

September 25, 2020 – New York-based Raines International has expanded with the addition of Lisa Mann as managing director and chief marketing officer.

Ms. Mann will lead Raines’ consumer practice, which includes consumer packaged goods, retail and e-commerce/direct-to-consumer, while also serving as the firm’s first CMO. She joins an accomplished senior management team at Raines, which over the last three months grew its business by 125 percent while also launching a new security officers practice.

Ms. Mann’s marketing career includes senior positions within several of the country’s largest and consumer products companies, and she has collaborated with some of the industry’s most dynamic and influential leaders. During her career, Ms. Mann led Nabisco’s U.S. cookies business, including Oreos cookies for its 100th birthday year. In that role, she created and oversaw the famous “Oreo” tweet during Super Bowl 2013. She led the Tropicana, Quaker, Naked Juice brands. She built the portfolio and changed the revenue contribution of the Health and Wellness brands within the company. Ms. Mann has also led Trident, Dentyne and Stride brands.

After receiving an MBA from Harvard Business School, Ms. Mann joined Kraft Foods, holding positions of increasing responsibility at the company, ultimately leading the $2 Billion Nabisco Cookie portfolio as a vice president for Mondelez (the spin-off from Kraft Foods) and then as the senior vice president of the $3 billion global gum category. Ms. Mann then joined KIND Healthy Snacks as EVP and CMO. Ms. Mann serves on the boards of several organizations, including SunFed Ranch, and she is a strategic advisor for Rethink Foods, EVRYTHNG (an internet-of-things company) and Tufts University’s marketing council.

Recent Growth

In July, Raines expanded with the addition of Engy Lamour as senior vice president of its asset management practice. Based in New York City, Mr. Lamour has more than 10 years of experience in the asset management and alternative investments industry and is recognized for his extensive subject matter expertise and vast executive network.


Raines International Launches Security Officers Practice
Raines International launched a new security officers practice, co-developed with The Lake Forest Group, a strategic security services firm specializing in all aspects of security, safety, and compliance. The practice will be led by Patrick Gray, managing director at Raines. His background in the executive search industry and as an intelligence officer, with a concentration on mission critical functions and market sectors, “are unique assets for clients seeking to elevate their security strategy and infrastructure,” the firm said.


As a member of Raines’ financial services executive search team, Mr. Lamour focuses primarily on clients in the hedge fund, private equity, real estate investment and venture capital sectors. “A champion of diversity and inclusion, Engy is a proven difference maker for clients seeking more diverse leadership teams that lead in their market areas,” the firm said.

In March, Raines opened a new office in Chicago led by SVP Bryan Burg. Mr. Smith said the firm is committed to expanding business both in the industrials sector as well as in the Midwest. “We have done high-level assignments in a variety of industries across the Midwest, and we see significant opportunity to grow our team in that market,” he said. “In Bryan, we have found the perfect example of our culture and work product. He is a fantastic executive and foundation for us to build upon in Chicago.”
