Pedersen & Partners Appoints Head of Global Asset Management Practice

February 11, 2020 – Dubai-headquartered executive search firm Pedersen & Partners has added Silvie Buchs to its Zurich office as a client partner and head of the global asset management practice.

Ms. Buchs brings 20 years of financial services executive search experience to the firm, and specializes in asset management, alternative investments and private wealth management. She previously served as a key member of the European and global asset and wealth management practice at Global Sage, where she was based in the London and Zurich offices.

Ms. Buchs has completed numerous assignments for asset owners, institutional and private wealth investment managers, and specialized boutiques across asset classes and functions. Additionally, she has a broader track record within financial services, with a search practice that spans leadership roles, investment management, distribution / client facing and senior infrastructure functions. Earlier in her career, Ms. Buchs established and managed her own executive search firm, focusing on EMEA financial services. She began her professional career with Korn Ferry and Boyden, where she managed senior financial services assignments.

This past July, Pedersen & Partners appointed Mr. Williams as its CEO replacing founder Poul Pedersen who assumed the role of executive chairman. Mr. Williams has over 17 years of executive search consulting experience. He joined Pedersen & Partners in 2014 as the head of South East Asia.
