Momenta Partners and Enertech Launch Quantal Search

October 5, 2018 – Zurich-based executive search firm Momenta Partners has joined forces with Enertech Search Partners to launch Quantal Search, a professional search practice focused on “deep talent.”
Quantal will focus on placing talent that are designing and operationalizing disruptive technologies including data science, blockchain and augmented reality, as well as associated operational and commercial teams.
Enertech Search Partners has served cleantech companies globally and has been placing energy transformation leaders since 2009, across smart grid, distributed energy, energy analytics and the Internet of Things. “The all-woman team has a solid reputation for creating sustainable and diverse teams,” the firms said. They are headquartered in San Francisco with team members across the US.
“The digital transformation of energy over the past decade is now expanding into broader industrial markets,” said Paige Carratturo, founder of Enertech. “Joining forces with Momenta Partners is a natural next step for Enertech, building Quantal to combine our deep domain experience and curated talent pools with Momenta’s advisory, talent and ventures platform to place the deep talent driving digital transformation of industry.”
“We have partnered with companies driving digitization in energy over the past decade and this transformation is now repeating itself in the broader industrial markets, perfectly positioning Enertech (now Quantal) to help companies overcome the same challenges faced in energy,” she said.
Disruptive Technologies
The name Quantal is a combination of the words “quant,” an expert at analyzing and managing quantitative data, and “talent,” to better reflect its focus on the talent activating disruptive technologies, such as analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Quantal complements Momenta’s executive search practice which has placed over 100 connected industry leaders since 2013.
“As we’ve placed key connected industry leaders, they’ve often come back to us for help building out the rest of their development, product and commercial teams,” said Jonathan Moulton, managing partner of Momenta. “Quantal provides the capabilities to do this quickly across all technical, product/service and commercial disciplines.”
