LPA Search Partners Recruits Digital Transformation Leader for American Chemical Society

Mr. Jones was previously head of innovation for Transamerica and a White House Presidential Innovation Fellows during the Obama Administration. Mr. Jones is also the founder and managing principal of private investment firm TBJ Investments, which focuses on early-stage investments in software, internet, mobile. cleantech and homeland security technologies.

In his new position with the American Chemical Society, Mr. Jones will shepherd the organization through a transition from an STM publisher that generates data, into a data and innovation organization that operates in the STM market.

“Digital transformation in this sense means shifting the business model from atoms-centric to bits-centric,” said Mr. Jones.
