June 23, 2026 – Toronto-headquartered executive recruitment firm Lock Search Group is currently seeking a new CEO for Atlas Sign & Awning. For over 30 years, Atlas Sign & Awning has helped businesses across Canada and the United States stand out through custom commercial signage, awnings, and branded architectural elements. Based in Langley, BC, they’ve built a strong reputation for quality and craftsmanship — and now they’re looking for the leader to take them into their next chapter.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a seasoned leader who thrives at the intersection of operations, sales, and people. You’ll report directly to the CEO of the holding company and have autonomy to define strategy, set priorities, and make critical decisions with full P&L accountability to drive sustainable, long-term growth.

Those applying should have a bachelor’s degree with a focus in business, commerce, or operations management. Candidates must have five to seven years of senior level management with a focus on profitably scaling organizations through effective and strategic business development, sales and marketing plans. The organization is looking for someone with a proven track record of success in leadership within a manufacturing setting as well as the ability to communicate, and present at an exceptional level – both written and verbal. Demonstrate critical and strategic thinking skills, including decision making skills is important as well as previous experience creating, developing, and executing sales plans that involve budgeting and deep goal setting.

He comes to Lock with direct experience in delivering results for enterprises large and small. Mr. Gawen has been at the forefront of establishing and building sales divisions from the ground up. Mr. Lamarche has been with the Lock family for over 15 years, working initially out of Montreal and now based in the Toronto office. He started his recruitment career in life sciences. Mr. Lamarche has extensive experience in managing complex recruitment projects. In the last few years, he has had success in managing true leadership roles (CEO, president, GM, COO, CFO) within a number of organizations.
