Leathwaite Appoints Non-Executive Director

December 2, 2025 – London-based executive search firm Leathwaite has appointed (John) Duncan Edwards to its board as non-executive director. “Duncan’s appointment to the board comes at an important and exciting time for our company,” said Andrew Wallace, chair and co-founder. “His proven leadership as a CEO through periods of significant growth, together with our ongoing ambitions to expand across North America, make his transatlantic experience an invaluable asset to our journey.”
Mr. Edwards currently serves as CEO of BritishAmerican Business (BAB), the leading transatlantic trade organization and public policy advocate representing around 500 U.S. and U.K. companies across all sectors of both economies. BAB functions as both the American Chamber of Commerce in the U.K. and the British Chamber of Commerce in the USA, making Mr. Edwards a highly connected leader on behalf of the organization in New York City, London and Washington D.C.
A respected voice on transatlantic relations, Mr. Edwards is a regular contributor to policy discussions and a frequent commentator in international media on U.S. – U.K. business affairs. Before joining BAB, he spent over three decades in the media industry in both London and New York. In recognition of his contributions, Mr. Edwards was appointed an officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by King Charles III in the New Year Honours List for 2024.
“I am very happy to be joining the Leathwaite board and look forward to working with the leadership team as they plan and deliver their strategy,” said Mr. Edwards. “This is a terrific business with big opportunities ahead of it.”
