L.Maxwell Global Appoints Board Advisor

May 7, 2026 – L.Maxwell Global has appointed Frank Tirelli as board advisor. In this role, he will strengthen the firm’s counsel to CEOs, boards, and private equity sponsors, shaping leadership across human capital platforms and professional services investments. “Frank has governed professional services firms from the inside at a scale very few advisors have, and he understands what that work looks like under sponsor ownership,” said Lisa Maxwell, founder of L.Maxwell. “His judgment will sharpen how we counsel private equity boards on the leadership decisions that determine investment outcomes across human capital and professional services platforms.”
Mr. Tirelli brings more than three decades of experience leading global professional services organizations. He spent more than two decades at Deloitte US, culminating as vice chairman and CEO of the Western Region, where he led $1 billion in revenue and 6,000 audit, tax, and consulting professionals. While there, he also served on Deloitte US’s board of directors and management committee. Mr. Tirelli was later appointed as chairman and CEO of Deloitte Italy, where he led 5,500 professionals and $1 billion in revenue and consolidated two major practices into the firm.
At L.Maxwell, Mr. Tirelli will advise the firm on the continued build-out of its professional services practice, where L.Maxwell partners with sponsor-backed business advisory, technology services, and specialized professional services firms on executive leadership. He will also contribute directly to CEO and board engagements across the firm’s broader human capital portfolio, applying his experience building firm cultures that sustain client service and retain senior talent.
“Mr. Tirelli’s addition reflects L.Maxwell’s continued investment in senior advisory capabilities as boards and sponsors increasingly treat leadership as core to the investment thesis,” the firm noted. “His experience deepens the firm’s counsel to executive teams and sponsors building human capital and professional services platforms of lasting value.”
“In sponsor-backed professional services platforms, the CEO and CFO appointments are the investment thesis,” said Mr. Tirelli. “L.Maxwell’s rigorous, operator-informed approach to search is built for that reality, and I look forward to helping the firm bring that perspective to the boards it counsels on leadership across their portfolios.”
Established in 2005, L.Maxwell Global is a retained search for executives in human capital and professional services. The firm has offices in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Silicon Valley. Ms. Maxwell is a 20 year veteran of the human capital industry with a track record for placing CEOs, C-level executives, and board members for professional service firms globally.
