January 27, 2026 – L.Maxwell Global has appointed Shelton Guinn as partner, where he will lead the firm’s chief people officer practice and expand its advisory work with CEOs, boards, and private equity sponsors. “Shelton brings a rare combination of operating depth and board-level perspective at a time when leadership and culture are under real pressure to perform,” said Lisa Maxwell, founder of L.Maxwell Global. “His experience advising industry leaders through complexity meaningfully strengthens our ability to support leadership teams operating under heightened expectations.”
“Guinn’s addition underscores L.Maxwell’s continued investment in senior leadership advisory expertise as organizations respond to increasing market demands for leadership that can operate at scale and culture that endures under complexity,” the search firm said. “His experience further strengthens the firm’s ability to partner with executive teams and sponsors, shaping resilient and high-performing organizations.”
Mr. Guinn most recently served as chief people officer of Innova Solutions, overseeing enterprise-wide operational strategy across a global workforce. Prior to that, he spent more than two decades in senior leadership roles at Allegis Group, contributing to the firm’s evolution into one of the world’s largest and most influential global human capital platforms. “His work at scale has positioned him as a trusted advisor to private equity sponsors and portfolio company leaders navigating critical inflection points,” L.Maxwell said.
At L.Maxwell, Mr. Guinn will lead the firm’s growing chief people officer practice, building on its track record of placing CHROs and chief people officers across industries. He will also contribute across CEO, board, and broader C-suite engagements, supporting clients as human capital leadership becomes a central driver of long-term value creation.
“The expectations placed on leadership teams have changed materially over the past five years,” said Mr. Guinn. “L.Maxwell has built a platform designed to address that reality, and I remain focused on working alongside sponsors and executives navigating complexity with greater rigor and intent.”
