IMD International Search Group Appoints President; New Board Members Elected

June 1, 2021 – Global executive search consortium IMD International Search Group has elected Alder Koten’s Jose Ruiz as its new president. Matthias Mohr of Dr. Heimeier & Partner, Germany recently completed his term as president. In addition, Stefan Danis (Mandrake, Canada), Anita Otterheim (Lisberg, Sweden), Daniel Lewczuk (Executive Network, Poland), and Rodolfo Sommer (Sommer Group, Chile) completed their terms as board members. “The board and members are very grateful to Matthias Mohr for his service as president for the past six years,” said Mr. Ruiz. “We are also very grateful to Stefan Danis, Anita Otterheim, Daniel Lewczuk and Rodolfo Sommer for their time on the board. The group set the foundation for the work that we will be doing going forward.”

Mr. Ruiz is involved in executive search work focused on board members, CEOs, and senior-level executives as well as consulting engagements related to leadership and organizational effectiveness helping clients create thriving cultures. He is also involved in research work focused on organizational effectiveness centered on leadership and culture. His professional experience includes leadership positions in engineering and operations management for manufacturing organizations in the U.S. and Mexico. Mr. Ruiz’s firm, Alder Koten, helps clients acquire, develop and transition leadership talent through a combination of research, executive search, cultural and leadership assessment, and other talent advisory services, which include career planning, outplacement, coaching and leadership training. The firm has offices in Bogota, Dallas, Guadalajara, Houston, Mexico City, Monterrey, and New York.

IMD International Search Group also added Anna Luiza Osser (Osser & Osser, Brazil), Anthony Albers (Bakker & Partners, Belgium), and Katrin Windmüller (Dr. Heimeier & Partner, Germany) to the board of directors. In the Annual General Assembly, the members also ratified Simona Cremascoli (Carter & Benson, Italy) and Peter Sutter (Austria) for another term on the board.
