IIC Partners Names Consumer and Retail Practice Group Leader

January 27, 2016 – IIC Partners has appointed Giuseppe Milito as the new leader of its consumer and retail search practice group. He succeeds Jean-Marc Danton of Progress Search in Paris, who served as practice group leader since 2011.

Mr. Milito is managing partner of Stones International in Hong Kong. He previously held several senior management roles specializing in the production and distribution of fashion and luxury accessories. He has a solid track record in placing CEOs and senior functional specialists in the fashion & luxury, industrial and automotive sectors.

“The consumer & retail sector is fast-changing and one of increasing challenges and complexities. The competition among companies in the sector to expand into new markets and to develop customer loyalty is fierce and increasingly global — and a ramped-up use of social media networks means that most companies in the sector now have the whole planet as a potential marketplace at their fingertips,” said Hunt Scanlon Media managing editor Dale Zupsansky.

“It is for me a great honor and a pleasure to be back at the head of IIC Partners’ consumer & retail practice group,” said Mr. Milito. “As one of its founders in 2005, I had the pleasure to be the first practice group leader between 2005 and 2008. Since then, IIC Partners and the consumer & retail practice group have both evolved a great deal. Thanks to the excellent job done by Jean-Marc Danton in Paris, today we can count on a solid worldwide presence in terms of expertise across the different domains of the consumer industry.”

This past fall, IIC Partners named Ruth Curran as its global chair. She has served on the IIC Partners board of directors since 2011, has been a director for two years and vice chair, EMEA, for two years. She is managing partner of MERC Partners located in Dublin and is an active member of IIC Partners’ global financial services practice group.
