Herbert Mines Appoints Vice President

February 27, 2023 – New York-based retail and consumer focused executive search firm Herbert Mines Associates has expanded with the addition of Lindsay Alexander as vice president. In her new position, she will focus senior-level searches within the beauty and consumer brands.

Ms. Alexander brings over 16 years of experience in finance, operations, and strategy leadership roles at consumer-facing brands including beauty, food, and consumables, and health and wellness businesses. She began her career as a strategy and operations management consultant. Ms. Alexander joined the firm from the Estée Lauder Companies where she worked closely with senior leadership to set and accelerate the agenda for the brand portfolio to deliver results. Prior to that, Ms. Alexander held business development and operations roles at consumer-facing start-ups in the multi-unit food and consumables and the health and wellness sectors. Earlier in her career she was a key member of the Strategic Planning Group at American Express and was a strategy and operations consultant for the global management consulting firm Kearney.

Today, Ms. Alexander is focused on driving high-level search assignments across consumer products and retail. She brings experience across consumer-driven brands and retailers, specifically in the areas of general management, finance, strategy, digital, and operations. She has partnered with senior leaders to transform functions as well as stand up new capabilities. Her areas of expertise include general management, finance, strategy and operations, consumer brands, and retail. Ms. Alexander holds an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University.

Herbert Mines Assists RugsUSA with CEO Search
