Heidrick & Struggles Names Americas Real Estate Sector Head

October 20, 2015 – Heidrick & Struggles has appointed Graham Beatty as head of its Americas real estate sector within the firm’s financial services practice. He will be based in Heidrick’s New York office.

Mr. Beatty has over 15 years of experience that includes leading C-suite executive searches for organizations ranging from investment management platforms to real estate owners, operators and developers. He has also focused on the recruitment of senior investment professionals and distribution executives. In addition, he has assisted several private equity sponsored management teams in preparing to launch IPOs through recruitment of experienced financial and executive officer talent.

Previously, Mr. Beatty was a consultant within the financial services sector at Russell Reynolds Associates where he advised clients in commercial real estate, private equity, and global banking and markets. He also served as the New York lead for the firm’s real estate practice. Earlier in his executive search career, he was a senior associate with Heidrick & Struggles. He began his career in financial services with UBS on the bank’s emerging markets fixed income desk.
