Diversified Search Group Seeking CHRO for Davidson College

December 4, 2023 – Koya Partners, a part of Diversified Search Group, was recently retained by Davidson College, Davidson, NC, to lead in its search for new chief human resources officer. Koya managing director Amy Sugin led the search along with senior associate Laura Bertonazzi. Davidson College seeks a collaborative and experienced leader to serve as the next CHRO. Reporting to the vice president and general counsel, the CHRO strategically leads the office of human resources to provide exceptional service to the Davidson College community. The CHRO is responsible for the development and implementation of human resource policies and practices that advance the core educational and operational objectives of the institution.

Working collaboratively with leaders across the campus, the CHRO will oversee an effective, innovative, and responsive human resources operation and will promote a high-performing, diverse, and productive culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent in support of Davidson’s distinctive mission and strategic plan.

The CHRO serves as a key leader within the Davidson community. The successful candidate will bring a record of increasingly responsible leadership positions in human resources and its functions. The next CHRO will have a proven record of success and deep knowledge of human resource functions and technology, including talent management and assessment, organizational behavior, employee relations, and compensation and benefits. The candidate should be an experienced leader of people with an ability to attract and mentor staff and to elicit a high-quality service orientation from a team.
