October 17, 2018 – Solon, OH-based Direct Recruiters Inc. (DRI) has announced two additions to its team.
Logan Payton is the new director of the firm’s HR solutions group and Shawna Rosner is director of the legal solutions group.
Ms. Payton brings over 10 years of HR experience to her new role, and deep understanding of the function. Previously, she was director of talent for Aleris, a global manufacturer. She has also been VP/managing partner of an executive search firm placing HR executives across the U.S.
A six-sigma green belt, Ms. Logan uses lean fundamentals in her approach which aids in efficiency, effectiveness, and quality services provided, said DRI.
“We are excited to welcome Logan to the Direct Recruiters team,” said David Peterson, managing partner. “With her expertise and experience, Direct Recruiters will have the ability to bring the best and brightest HR professionals to fit our clients’ needs across all vertical markets. Focusing on manager to C-level positions, Logan knows the space and will help Direct Recruiters elevate our service offerings to our current and potential valued clients.”
Ms. Rosner combines over 24 years as an attorney, 15 years as a career coach and seven years of recruiting experience, bringing a comprehensive skill-set to the legal recruiting market.
Ms. Rosner graduated from Tulane University with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 1991. Three years later, she graduated from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. In 2003, she earned a master’s degree in counseling from John Carroll University, with a focus on counseling lawyers with their career progression.
“We are thrilled to offer legal recruiting solutions to new and existing clients with Shawna’s expertise,” said Dan Charney, president and CEO of DRI. “Leveraging her legal experience paired with her recruiting knowledge, Direct Recruiters has the ability to elevate our clients’ legal departments as well as local, regional, and national legal firms. With our deep national network of the brightest legal talent, we are able to provide clients and candidates the solutions they need to maximize their full potential.”
DRI has been in business for over 35 years, providing customized employment solutions for clients, working in over 25 vertical markets.
Recently, the firm announced that it is backing up its executive searches with a retention guarantee of its placements for one to two years. Direct Retention, as the firm calls its new product offering, revolves around a thorough evaluation of candidates by DRI as well as expert independent partners.
“We spent the better part of last year looking at specific reasons why professionals in leadership positions leave companies,” said Mr. Charney. “Then we went through a process of vetting third party partners in order to address those exact reasons. Now, when a client is looking to fill a key position, not only do we recruit, interview, acquire, and provide the traditional services, we take it to the next level and offer a full solution using data and analytics to ensure the right fit and retention.”
DRI’s Direct Retention product involves a team approach that is said to be thorough and well integrated. It starts with a client company having an initial consultation call with each of the firm’s consultants. “From there, together we come up with a candidate profile to include cultural fit, a proper compensation plan and parameters around a relocation package,” said Mr. Charney. “We also can include our law firm partner early in the process to come up with a strategy if we feel it is likely the selected candidate has some type of restrictive covenant.”
Earlier this year, the DRI formed a partnership with PRADCO, a talent assessment, development and management company.
“With the ongoing data-driven environment we are experiencing, our partnership with PRADCO will assist us in our goal of providing customized solutions that help our clients hire top talent for mission-critical positions,” said Mr. Charney. “PRADCO set themselves apart from their competitors because they share in our belief that talent acquisition is not a one-size-fits-all proposition. The organizations that are enjoying the most success in this current business cycle are those that have a customized recruiting strategy based on their own specific needs.”
The alliance with PRADCO will enable Direct Recruiters to provide clients with customized assessment solutions. Clients now have the option to use PRADCO assessments to determine which candidates are the right cultural, technical and organizational fit. This includes use of several assessment options from PRADCO to measure candidate behaviors.
