Daversa Partners Names VP of Marketing and Communications

October 4, 2021 – Daversa Partners, which helps build leadership teams for growth and venture-backed companies, named Nicole Daversa as vice president of marketing and communications after leading the firm through a three-year global rebrand and creative overhaul.

A storyteller at her core, Ms. Daversa cut her teeth in the world of entertainment & experiential marketing working for industry leader CR8 developing the marketing & brand strategy for some of the world’s largest electronic music festivals. Marrying the fan experience with brand recognition, she worked with renowned clients such as Budweiser Global, Corona, Anheuser-Busch, and Absolut.

Marrying the fan experience with brand recognition, she worked with renowned clients such as Budweiser Global, Corona, Anheuser-Busch and Absolut. After experiencing the world of marketing through the lens of live and experiential, Ms. Daversa relocated to Los Angeles where she joined Live Nation Entertainment working for their chief communications officer. Throughout her time at Live Nation, she worked strategically with Live Nation’s global market leaders including Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts and Live Nation Sponsorship.

At Daversa Partners, Ms. Daversa  is responsible for the firm’s go-to-market initiatives including marketing, brand strategy, PR and corporate communications. In addition, she co-founded the firm’s “Dreamscape” initiative that is focused on accelerating black representation in the C-suite.

For the last eight years, Mr. Suliman has helped lead the firm’s technology practice out of San Francisco and has worked directly with consumer and enterprise businesses ranging from pre-revenue ground-ups to multibillion-dollar public companies. He has deep functional expertise in product, engineering and general management having placed over 100 executives in most industry sectors including consumer internet, enterprise SaaS, mobility, robotics, security and fintech.

In July, Daversa Partners named Amy Dolan as its chief people officer and Maggie Libatique as chief financial officer. “I speak on behalf of the entire leadership team when I say we are thrilled to have Amy and Maggie on board and are excited to witness the growth and success our firm will experience thanks to their expertise,” said Mr. Daversa.

As Daversa’s chief people officer, Ms. Dolan oversees people strategy and operations ensuring the company continues to invest in its culture of collaboration, learning and development. Previously, she was chief people officer for Eyeview. Ms. Libatique joined Daversa Partners as the firm’s CFO, overseeing accounting, finance, information technology, planning and treasury. She started her career in public accounting, but quickly moved on to corporate accounting roles at Otis Elevator world headquarters, EquiPower Resources Corp. and Lydall.
