Ms. Libatique joins Daversa Partners as their CFO, overseeing accounting, finance, information technology, planning and treasury. In 2013, she started as accounting manager at Evariant, where she built the accounting and finance team, supported several rounds of equity and debt financing, and led its sale to Healthgrades as the CFO.

“I have always been passionate about operational excellence – building back-office teams and technical infrastructure to optimize every transaction and interaction,” said Ms. Libatique. “I’m thrilled to join Daversa Partners on this incredible journey through the firm’s next phase of growth. I look forward to working with the team to execute on the company’s goals and enhance value.”

Respected Recruiters

Daversa Partners, founded in 1993, builds executive teams for growth stage and venture backed companies. Its global footprint spans two continents and eight offices, giving its teams visibility into the entirety of the market. Daversa is dedicated to developing meaningful relationships with entrepreneurs, executives and investors across consumer and enterprise businesses. In addition to its primary location in Westport, CT, the firm has offices in New York; San Francisco; Washington, D.C.; Orlando, FL; London; and Waterford, CT.

In April, Daversa appointed Frank Cumella to the firm’s partnership. Mr. Cumella joined 13 other partners at the time who have each spent an average of 15 years with the firm. He has played a crucial role in building out the firm’s New York practice and is currently spearheading the organization’s aggressive push into Boston across robotics, healthcare, big data and cloud computing. Mr. Cumella continues to focus on building the senior management teams for high growth, early- and mid-stage enterprise software and consumer internet companies, as well as influential public technology businesses which include Deep Instinct, Collibra, UiPath, BigID, Berkshire Grey and Cloudbees.

“I could not be more excited to announce the promotion of Frank to partner,” said Mr. Daversa at the time. “His commitment to leadership over the last decade has been unapparelled, as was his resounding show of resiliency and stability he provided to the firm over the last 12 months.”

A Commitment to Women

Also in April, the firm named Katie Fischer managing director. “This appointment further solidifies the company’s commitment to developing and recognizing extraordinary women at all levels across the firm and throughout the executive search ranks,” said the search firm. Daversa Partners’ global workforce is represented by 64 percent women, and 58 percent across its senior leadership team.

Ms. Fischer joined Daversa Partners in 2011 as a founding member of the firm’s fast-growing technology practice in New York. She has spent her career delivering transformational VP- and C-level engineering, product, and marketing leadership for consumer Internet and enterprise software companies. Her clients include Squarespace, Oscar, Klaviyo, Fast Radius, SentinelOne Dragos, NewsCred, Rubrik, Cityblock Health, Freshly, Spanx, The Player’s Tribune, Codecademy and Stride Health among others.

“Daversa Partners would not be ‘who we are’ today or where we are in market without the extraordinary women who have been leading from the front for the past 25-plus years,” said Mr. Daversa. “The majority of the firm, as well as my senior partnership are female executives; and leaders like Katie bring tremendous impact to our industry as a whole. Watching Katie grow into the determined, resilient and ambitious leader she is today has been a highlight of my career. She is a role model and mentor to all women (and men) across the firm, and wholeheartedly invests in the success and growth of our employees, at all levels.”
