This executive is responsible for defining and executing the enterprise technology strategy that enables innovation across connected home products, digital services, and global distribution operations at Resideo Technologies. This leader ensures that enterprise technology platforms, cloud infrastructure, and data capabilities support the company’s smart home ecosystem, enabling secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity for millions of installed devices worldwide, according to the job specification.

As a key member of the leadership team, the CIO partners closely with engineering, product management, manufacturing and distribution organization to deliver resilient digital platforms that support IoT-enabled products, mobile applications, remote monitoring services, and data-driven insights.

Those interested in this role should have 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including experience in executive role as well as a proven track record of leading enterprise-wide technology transformations. Charlotte, NC-based HARTZ Search has helped to recruit Bill Bellando as executive vice president and chief information officer of Geisinger. He joins Geisinger after serving as senior vice president and chief information officer at Georgia-based Wellstar Health System from 2022 to 2026. In this role, Mr. Bellando oversaw information technology and digital initiatives across the health system. “Geisinger is widely recognized for its patient-centered approach, clinical excellence, commitment to innovation and focus on transforming healthcare delivery,” Mr. Bellando said in a LinkedIn post. “The opportunity to help advance that mission through technology, digital transformation and operational excellence is both humbling and energizing.”

Boston-based Isaacson, Miller has assisted in the recruitment of Zack Kahn as chief information officer for the Smithsonian Institution. Karen Avery and Dan Rodas led this search with Stephen Kalogeras and Caroline Corry. Mr. Kahn joins the Smithsonian Institution with more than two decades of strategic technology leadership across federal agencies, global operations, and mission‑driven institutions. He previously served as acting chief information officer at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where he oversaw the technology and data transition associated with USAID’s operational shift to the U.S. Department of State.

After an extensive national search process, Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) has placed Chris Ament as chief information officer of Central New Mexico Community College (CNM). Jennifer Muller, managing partner, led the assignment.
