BrainWorks Names Leader of Consumer Packaged Goods Practice

April 6, 2026 – Warren, NJ-based executive search firm BrainWorks has appointed Jordan Kaliher will lead its consumer packaged goods (CPG) practice, succeeding company founder Andy Miller, who has guided the practice since its inception more than three decades ago. He will shift his full time focus to CEO. “Jordan’s appointment marks a natural next chapter for the practice,” the firm said in a release.
The CPG practice holds a unique place in the Brainwork’s history. It was the first practice established at BrainWorks 35 years ago, when Mr. Miller founded the company to focus on executive talent for consumer-focused organizations. For the past 34 years, Mr. Miller has personally led the CPG practice.
Ms. Kaliher joined BrainWorks as a director of client services in 2021. She has built her career within the firm’s sales & marketing practice, where she developed deep relationships with CPG organizations and emerging consumer brands.
Ms. Kaliher is a seasoned leader and trusted recruiting partner, bringing over a decade of experience in executive and professional search. She began her career at Robert Half Technology, where she led high-performing teams focused on technical infrastructure and quickly established herself as a top performer. She later joined TriSearch, managing the firm’s largest client relationships and consistently delivering results year after year.
“Through her work with high-growth companies and established industry leaders, she has become known for her strong network and nuanced understanding of the talent needs shaping the consumer products sector,” the firm said. “Jordan has cultivated deep partnerships across the CPG sector, partnering with leadership teams to build high-performing organizations during periods of growth and change. Her ability to connect companies with high-impact talent across multiple functions has made her a trusted advisor to CPG executives navigating critical talent decisions.”
As the leader of the CPG practice, Ms. Kaliher will continue BrainWorks’ long-standing mission of helping consumer brands identify and attract top executive and functional talent. With deep industry insight and a record of success, she is well positioned to carry forward the legacy of the firm’s founding practice while supporting the next generation of consumer product companies, the firm noted. “Jordan’s leadership reflects BrainWorks’ continued commitment to the CPG industry and the evolving talent strategies required to drive growth in a rapidly changing consumer marketplace,” the firm said.
Since 1991, BrainWorks has provided executive recruiting services for growing organizations all over the world. The firm focuses on the recruiting needs of C-level and sub C-level management specifically within private equity and Fortune companies.

Past Promotions
Last fall, Brainworks named Kelly Maslow as sales & marketing practice leader, and Bowen Knarr, interim accounting & finance practice leader, as vice presidents. “This strategic move reflects not only their individual achievements but also the significant influence they’ve had across the entire BrainWorks organization,” the search firm said. “The decision to elevate a practice leader to a VP is carefully considered. It represents years of proven leadership, the ability to impact not just a single practice area, and countless client partnerships across industries and categories, as well as peers across the organization. Both Kelly and Bowen have demonstrated exactly that.”
“From our partners’ perspective, promotions to VP are about more than just titles,” BrainWorks said. “They are about recognizing individuals whose leadership and vision elevate BrainWorks as a whole. Kelly and Bowen embody that standard—bringing not only expertise in their fields but also cross-practice influence that strengthens every team.”
“Their new roles reflect both a recognition of the value they have already created and a commitment to expand their impact across BrainWorks and for our clients,” the firm continued. “These promotions highlight the kind of leadership that defines our firm—leaders whose work delivers long-term results and meaningful partnerships.”
