BrainWorks Delivers on RightCrowd CEO Search

April 17, 2024 – Warren, NJ-based executive search firm BrainWorks has secured Jason Bohrer as CEO of RightCrowd, a Bloom Equity Partners company. Mr. Bohrer has over 30 years of senior leadership experience in the identity and access management industry. His track record includes tenures at large enterprise companies such as Sentry Interactive, CPI Card Group, HID Global, and Motorola, Inc. Prior to joining RightCrowd, Mr. Bohrer served as the executive director of the Secure Technology Alliance, a prominent not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing secure identity technology in the payments, identity, and access control industries. He was also an inaugural member of the University of Chicago Executive Institute.

In October, BrainWorks assisted in the recruitment of Catherine O’Brien as the new CFO of RightCrowd. Todd Shiner, VP, partner – accounting and finance, private equity PortCo. search for BrainWorks, and his team led the search for RightCrowd. Ms. O’Brien has experience in partnering with private equity firms, conducting M&A transactions, leading growth strategies, and has gone through a number of successful exits. She has been in the SaaS space for 15 years and has managed recurring revenue models ranging from $25 million to $150 million. Ms. O’Brien is a CPA who started her career in public accounting with BDO Seidman. She spent almost 10 years with Janus Capital where she managed all aspects of worldwide accounting operations for this $1.1 billion publicly-held mutual fund company.
