Bay Street Advisors Launches Eastward Search Partners
October 8, 2015 – Bay Street Advisors, LLC, an executive search and consulting firm focused on the financial services industry, has launched Eastward Search Partners, LLC, a professional recruitment and staffing firm dedicated to the middle and back-office segments of the financial services industry.
The two firms will operate independently and support clients in non-overlapping areas of the industry. Eastward Search will focus on both temporary and permanent human capital solutions in project/program management, business analysis, data analytics, management consulting, legal, compliance, risk management, internal audit, and regulatory related searches.
Lawrence Baum, managing partner of Bay Street Advisors, has brought on Joseph Carbone, formerly of Michael Page International Inc., to lead Eastward Search. Mr. Carbone will work with a dedicated team of recruiters and staffing professionals to assist him in providing a full suite of services to clients across the public and private markets. The team will be further supported by industry leading technology that will ensure a seamless search process for both clients and candidates, including a new web portal and smartphone app to be launched this winter.
Prior to spending eight years as a director of Michael Page, Mr. Carbone was a financial services professional with Wealth Advisory Group, LLC. Prior to that he gained experience with New York Life Insurance Company.

Mr. Baum said it became clear that few such firms exist in the U.S. or Canada. “Therefore, we decided to create one.”
