Bay Street Advisors Expands Hedge Fund Practice
November 17, 2025 – Executive recruitment firm Bay Street Advisors has expanded with the addition of Dominique Lawrence as a director in the hedge fund practice. “Dominique joins us from Jackson Lucas, where he specialized in senior leadership placements across hedge funds and alternative investment firms,” Bay Street Advisors said in a LinkedIn post. “His expertise in aligning investment talent, business development strategy, and organizational structure brings significant value to our platform. Please join us in welcoming Dominique to the team.”
At Bay Street Advisors, Mr. Lawrence will serve as a strategic advisor to hedge fund clients focusing on corporate development initiatives, investment strategy buildouts, and external capital allocations.
Mr. Lawrence serves as a director in the alternatives group at Jackson Lucas, where he specialized in placing leadership and front office investment and distribution professionals across global asset managers, hedge funds, and private equity firms. In addition to his recruitment expertise, he led the firm-wide associate training and development programs, ensuring that teams were equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the evolving financial landscape. Prior to this, Mr. Lawrence was an acquisitions associate with TGM Associates.

Bay Street Advisors is led by Larry Baum, managing partner and head of the firm’s capital markets practice. He founded the firm in 2009 after a nearly 20-year career in various trading and management positions with global investment banks. Most recently, he led global foreign exchange trading at Bank of America, overseeing a staff of more than 100 professionals across the globe. Leveraging his experience in establishing and leading global institutional platforms, Mr. Baum formed Bay Street Advisors to provide investment banks and alternative asset managers with comprehensive advice and additional resources to build their own world-class businesses. He began his career at Citibank.
Growing Private Markets and Investment Banking Practice
Earlier this year, Bay Street Advisors expanded with the addition of Sloan Warren as vice president in the private markets and investment banking practice. In this role, Ms. Warren focuses on expanding the firm’s private markets practice, leveraging her industry expertise and deep network to support clients in identifying and attracting senior talent. Ms. Warren’s appointment further strengthened Bay Street Advisors’ growing alternatives practice, led by Edward Fernand, who joined the firm in early 2025. With increasing demand for top-tier talent in private equity, private credit, and alternative asset management, Ms. Warren will play a key role in deepening the firm’s capabilities and delivering tailored solutions to clients navigating a competitive market.

Ms. Warren most recently served as senior associate, private markets & alternative investments at Korn Ferry. Prior to that, she worked within business development, private equity & venture capital at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group). During her career, Ms. Warren gained experience in various roles with Sard Verbinnen & Co and Houlihan Lokey.
