Bay Street Advisors Grows Private Markets and Investment Banking Practice
March 25, 2025 – Executive recruitment firm Bay Street Advisors has expanded with the addition of Sloan Warren as vice president in the private markets and investment banking practice. In this role, Ms. Warren will focus on expanding the firm’s private markets practice, leveraging her industry expertise and deep network to support clients in identifying and attracting senior talent. Ms. Warren’s appointment further strengthens Bay Street Advisors’ growing alternatives practice, led by Edward Fernand, who joined the firm in early 2025. With increasing demand for top-tier talent in private equity, private credit, and alternative asset management, Ms. Warren will play a key role in deepening the firm’s capabilities and delivering tailored solutions to clients navigating a competitive market.

Ms. Warren most recently served as senior associate, private markets & alternative investments at Korn Ferry. Prior to that, she worked within business development, private equity & venture capital at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group). During her career, Ms. Warren gained experience in various roles with Sard Verbinnen & Co and Houlihan Lokey.

Most recently, he led global foreign exchange trading at Bank of America, overseeing a staff of more than 100 professionals across the globe. Leveraging his experience in establishing and leading global institutional platforms, Mr. Baum formed Bay Street Advisors to provide investment banks and alternative asset managers with comprehensive advice and additional resources to build their own world-class businesses. He began his career at Citibank.

Mr. Fernand has over 25 years of executive search and client advisory experience, having most recently served as managing director and head of global markets at Solomon Page Group for over 15 years, partnering with clients across major sell-side and buy-side firms. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for executing senior-level and C-suite searches across investment banking, private markets -private credit and private equity, distressed credit and special situations investing, fixed income, equity derivatives, and global markets. Mr. Fernand has led complex hiring initiatives, including team expansions, platform builds, and strategic market entries, making him a natural fit for Bay Street Advisors’ growth trajectory.
