Allegis Partners Recruits VP of Talent and Culture for Mynd Property Management

April 10, 2020 – New York City-based executive search firm Allegis Partners has placed Maria Lovi as vice president of talent and culture at Mynd Property Management in Oakland, CA. The search was conducted by John K. Anderson, managing director in San Francisco, and Rebecca Herbster-Chen, director in Los Angeles.

“Maria brings an impressive background in M&A and learning and development and will play a central role on Mynd’s continued growth and expansion,” said Mr. Anderson. “She is an intelligent and collaborative leader whose focus and drive align well with Mynd’s leadership.”

Ms. Lovi has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of strategy, leadership and planning. Reporting directly to co-founder and CEO, Doug Brien, she will serve as part of Mynd’s leadership team, working together to develop long-range talent and culture initiatives by building innovative and scalable systems and processes that attract, onboard, develop and retain world-class talent.

Prior to joining Mynd, Ms. Lovi was the head of global talent for Business Social Responsibility (BSR), a non-profit developing sustainable business strategies. She has also held several leadership roles with Nielsen and Kilpatrick Townsend. Ms. Lovi has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sonoma State University.
