Allegis Partners Adds HR / Executive Search Practice Leader

June 2, 2015 – Global executive search firm Allegis Partners has named Mark Streifer as managing director in the firm’s human resources / executive search and advisory practice. He will be based in the firm’s Boston office. Mr. Streifer is an HR leader who has partnered with executive leadership teams to provide strategic perspective and operational execution of talent acquisition as well as talent management initiatives at multi-billion dollar global companies, including Covidien, GE, Honeywell (formerly Allied Signal), Merck & Co. and Invensys.

He most recently served as vice president of talent acquisition and planning with Covidien PLC. He spent nine years with Covidien, where he led global talent acquisition and planning, built a high-performing organization spanning all regions and developed broad-based strategy to build brand awareness and penetrate emerging markets.

In addition to his nine years with Covidien, Mr. Streifer directed global talent management programs as VP global HR—Controls Division at Invensys, PLC and led senior-level executive search activity and developed talent acquisition programs for Merck & Co.
