ADK Consulting & Executive Search Recruits Airport Director for Addison Airport

September 3, 2025 – ADK Consulting & Executive Search has recruited Jaime Edrosa as airport director of Addison Airport (ADS), one of the largest general aviation airports in the United States. Senior project manager Kenneth Gwyn led the search team. “Jaime Edrosa’s broad experience across airport operations, construction, and security, paired with his collaborative leadership style, makes him an outstanding fit to lead Addison Airport into its next chapter,” said Addison city manager David Gaines. “His commitment to safety, efficiency, and innovation aligns perfectly with Addison’s vision for a vibrant and forward-looking aviation environment.”

With more than two decades of experience in airport operations, aviation security, construction management, and public administration, Mr. Edrosa brings a wealth of leadership, technical knowledge, and community-centered vision to this vital role. He most recently served as aviation division manager at Cincinnati Municipal Airport, where he led airport administration, operations, capital improvement planning, and community engagement.

Mr. Edrosa also held key roles with the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Amazon Air’s Global Hub, the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, and Q&D Construction’s aviation projects division. His work has consistently emphasized operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and collaborative decision-making. He is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives and a licensed private pilot with an instrument rating.

As airport director, Mr. Edrosa will oversee the operations and strategic development of ADS, a self-sustaining enterprise that contributes significantly to the region’s economic vitality.

Addison Airport is a prominent public general aviation airport located in Addison, TX. Opened in 1957 and now owned by the Town of Addison, it serves as a convenient alternative for corporate, private, and training flights, situated approximately six miles north of Dallas Love Field and ten miles northeast of DFW International Airport.

Founded in 2003, Atlantic Beach, FL-based ADK specializes exclusively in talent searches for the airport management community. The firm is led by founder and president Doug Kuelpman, who has a history of over 40 years in aviation. ADK’s services include retained executive search, interim management, organizational consulting, and leadership development.

The majority of Mr. Gwyn’s career was with the City of Dallas, where he quickly rose through the ranks to lead several major departments and held several executive level positions, including director of the department of aviation. As director, he had responsibility for the overall management and operation of Dallas Love Field Airport, Dallas Executive Airport and the Dallas Vertiport/Heliport. Prior to ADK, Mr. Gwyn was employed by FedEx Express Corporation representing the company on all airport related lease and property development matters, managing a large real estate portfolio at 30 airports.

Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Search

ADK also recently recruited Yovannie Rodriguez as senior vice president and chief strategy officer of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority. Linda Frankl, director, senior practice leader, led the assignment.

Ms. Rodriguez brings a strong background in aviation administration and strategy, most recently holding the title of executive vice president and chief administrative officer for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA). In that role, she was responsible for the overall development and activities of revenue generating concessions, business development, records, human resources and regulatory compliance functions. Previously, Ms. Rodriguez served as deputy general counsel for GOAA, working on a capital improvement program involving $3 billion in infrastructure development. She also worked for the private law firm, Marchena and Graham, PA.

The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority is the governing body responsible for the development, operation, and management of Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), which serves North Carolina’s Research Triangle region. Established in 1939, the Authority is an independent government entity that oversees strategic planning, infrastructure development, and day-to-day operations to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused air travel.
