Acertitude Fills Senior AI Position for DXC Technology
December 13, 2023 – Executive search firm Acertitude has recruited Howard Boville as the new executive vice president and global lead of applications services and artificial intelligence of NYSE-traded DXC Technology, a Fortune 500 global technology services company. The search team was led by Kevin O’Neill, co-founder and managing partner, and Guy Barnes, managing partner and leader of the firm’s global professional services practice. “Howard is a solid executive, with strengths leading large-scale, cloud-focused global transformations,” said Mr. O’Neill. “That background combined with his deep knowledge of data applications and AI are a great fit for DXC as they pursue their next stage of growth.”

Mr. Boville has held senior leadership positions at some of the world’s largest, market-leading companies. He most recently served as IBM’s senior vice president, IBM cloud platform, technology lifecycle services and cybersecurity. In this role, Mr. Boville built the strategy for IBM’s regulated hybrid cloud platform and created a new market category for cloud that helped drive growth for the company. Prior to that, Mr. Boville served as chief technology officer at Bank of America. In this role, he was responsible for building and operating one of the world’s largest technology infrastructure and digital platforms, supporting the bank’s eight lines of business and all customer applications. “With his passion for innovation and technology, his experience as both a customer and service provider and ability to build winning teams, Boville is an excellent complement to DXC’s senior leadership team,” the company said.
