Witt/Kieffer Creates Mid-Level Search Firms WK Advisors

November 14, 2012 – Executive search firm Witt/Kieffer has launched WK Advisors, a new mid-level executive search division for healthcare and not-for-profit organizations. WK Advisors is the result of a merger between Dalton Boggs & Associates, a boutique firm that places mid-tier leaders at hospitals and health systems, and Witt/Kieffer. The new division specializes in recruiting mid-tier administrative and clinical department directors and assistant vice presidents on behalf of hospitals and health systems, academic medical centers and medical schools, accountable care/managed care organizations and foundations. David Boggs, based in Lousiville, is practice leader for WK Advisors. Mr. Boggs began his executive search career at Witt/Kieffer as a consultant based in Dallas for five years. Following his initial tenure at Witt/Kieffer, he went on to serve as vice president of Dalton Boggs for a decade. “As healthcare organizations of all types face growing pressure to reduce costs and increase efficiencies, it is more important than ever to recruit highly qualified mid-level executives who can help their employers succeed at the department and clinical level,” said Charles W.B. Wardell III, president and CEO of Witt/Kieffer. “Witt/Kieffer’s extensive experience placing C-suite healthcare leaders gives us a deep appreciation for the challenges to recruit superb clinical departmental and support function executives — where managerial experience and interpersonal skills are as critical to success as technical expertise.” Witt/Kieffer assists colleges, universities, national educational associations, foundations, cultural organizations, human service and advocacy organizations, private secondary schools and other not-for-profit organizations with senior administrative recruiting assignments.
