Cook Associates Recruits CTO for Wellmark

November 14, 2012 – Chicago-based Cook Associates Executive Search has placed Sameer Sonalkar as vice president and chief technology officer at Wellmark. The search was led by Kevin Parker, managing director and head of the firm’s financial services and insurance practice. Mr. Sonalkar joins Wellmark from Booz & Company where he served most recently as principal consultant, providing strategy and directional guidance to C-level executives across the healthcare vertical. Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield is a mutual insurance company owned by its policyholders. Cook Associates provides retained executive search services to multinational corporations, early-stage entrepreneurial companies, midcap, privately held and family-owned businesses, as well as venture capital- and private equity-backed firms.
