Weyerhaeuser Company Announces New CEO

June 17, 2013 – Weyerhaeuser Company/(NYSE:WY) has hired Doyle Simons as its president and chief executive officer. R. Simons was chairman and chief executive officer of Temple-Inland from 2008 until February 2012 when it was acquired by International Paper. Weyerhaeuser Company, one of the world’s largest forest products companies, began operations in 1900.
