Vanderbloemen Search Group Partners with the 4Sight Group

September 19, 2019 – Houston-based Vanderbloemen Search Group, which finds leaders for churches and ministries, has formed a partnership with the 4Sight Group, a consulting group focused on developing healthy leaders and thriving organizations through coaching, consulting and culture workshops.

Jenni Catron is the founder of 4Sight Group, a consulting group focused on developing healthy leaders and thriving organizations through coaching, consulting, and culture workshops. Ms. Catron is an expert on organizational culture and will help connect Vanderbloemen clients in the process of building cultures.

“The 4Sight Group and Vanderbloemen believe that leadership is sacred work,” said William Vanderbloemen, founder and president of Vanderbloemen Search Group. “Leaders have the remarkable privilege of leading teams of individuals to accomplish great outcomes. Yet nothing about this task is easy. Leadership is challenging, complex, frustrating and still enormously rewarding. In today’s leadership environment the pace of change and growth is dizzying and the expectation to keep pace with it all can be debilitating.”

“That’s where our strategic partnership with Jenni comes in,” he said. “As a leader with endless potential, you’ve been entrusted with the responsibility of leadership for this season. The 4Sight Group, through a 12-month engagement diving deep into the heart, mind, strength, and soul of your organization, commits to helping you thrive as you work through these building blocks of leadership.”

“Vanderbloemen is thrilled to partner with Jenni Catron as a strategic business partner,” Mr. Vanderbloemen said. “When you partner with Vanderbloemen, you get access to our network, which extends beyond our in-house team to our strategic partners who are experts in their field serving Christian organizations. Together, we help our clients win in building the best team possible.”

Vanderbloemen Search Group is a pastor-focused search firm that helps churches and faith-based organizations find mission-driven leaders. It has completed hundreds of searches serving churches and ministries from 70 to 70,000 in size, including nearly 100 denominations and tribes. The firm was founded in 2010 by Mr. Vanderbloemen, who has combined over 15 years of ministry experience as a senior pastor with the best practices of executive search to provide churches with a unique, and some would say, inspirational offering.

Partnerships and Mergers

Executive search firms have seen a rise in partnerships and mergers in recent months. Here’s a look at a few from the Hunt Scanlon Media archives:

Slone Partners has just invested in a joint venture to expand outside of healthcare and into the cybersecurity industry by partnering with Wolf Hill Group, which will focus exclusively on recruitment in cybersecurity. The two firms will work together to bring best practices in executive search to address a talent shortage that is expected to see 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity positions by 2021.

New Zealand-headquartered search firms SWR Group and Rothley Executive Search have merged. Under the agreement, Rothley operations become part of SWR Group. Rothley founder and managing director Sean Brunner is now based in SWR’s Wellington offices, also working closely with the group’s team in Auckland.

Search firm Opus Partners has integrated the executive search business of CBO Partners Recruiting, a Charlottesville, VA-based human-capital management firm, into its national higher education and healthcare practice. Jay Scott, CBO’s founder and president, becomes an associate partner at Opus in the firm’s Charlottesville, VA office.

London-based SpenglerFox and Cowley Brown Recruitment, located in Dublin, formed a strategic alliance aimed at growing and expanding both firms’ search business in Ireland. The alliance will target the retained executive search business in the Irish market with an initial focus on C-suite roles in life sciences and related sectors.

Toronto-based Caldwell is partnering with Hattonneale, a Sydney-based executive search firm. Under the affiliation agreement, Hattonneale will represent Caldwell in Australia and drive further growth into key practice sectors and geographies across Australia/New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.

Search firms College Sports Solutions and Buffkin / Baker formed a new partnership. Under the strategic alliance, the two firms will combine their executive search services to better serve universities and colleges, intercollegiate conferences and collegiate athletic organizations.
