True Search Recruits President and Chief Commercial Officer for Mojix

January 19, 2023 – Peterson Loftin, Matt Engel, and Isabel Klatt of executive recruiting firm True Search assisted in the recruitment of Chris Cassidy as president and chief commercial officer of Peak Rock Capital-backed Mojix in Boca Rotan, FL.

Mr. Cassidy most recently served as EVP and chief revenue officer at Trax Technologies. Previously, he held various supply chain leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Gartner, UPS, and GSK. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an executive program certification in supply chain management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

LLR Partners Makes Equity Investment in True
LLR Partners, a private equity firm based in Philadelphia, has made an investment in Haddonfield, NJ-based True, a global executive talent management platform. The new partnership is aimed at developing and expanding innovation within the talent space. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

True surpassed $100 million in revenues in 2019 and added 146 people during the pandemic. True has consistently been the fastest organic growth mid-sized search firm over the last decade. Last month, True placed No. 7 on the Hunt Scanlon Media ‘Top 50 Recruiters’ ranking. LLR Partners, which has raised more than $5 billion to fund investments across the technology and healthcare sectors, is said to have bought into True’s mission: to disrupt a stagnant industry in desperate need of tech-driven talent solutions.


Mr. Loftin is a partner in True’s go-to-market practice, where he focuses on placing sales, marketing, and customer success leaders into private equity and venture-backed technology businesses. He specializes in serving portfolio companies of private equity and venture capital firms with go-to-market leaders at the C-level and VP-level.

Mr. Engel is a partner, head of the ed-tech practice. He focuses primarily on board, CEO, and functional go-to-market searches. He has deep expertise in broadly understanding markets, SaaS, enterprise, and GTM strategy. Mr. Engel has 20 years of technology experience across five operating roles, nine board/observer roles as a VC, and an early stint at PwC.

Ms. Klatt is a senior associate in True’s go-to-market practice and is based in the New York office. Through her experience, she has developed long-term relationships with diverse professionals across a myriad of different industries
