TalentRISE Hires Managing Director of Executive Search

October 10, 2019 – TalentRISE, a Chicago-based firm specializing in executive search and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), recently hired Clinton Browning as its new managing director of executive search.

Mr. Browning brings over 20 years of experience to the role, most recently serving as managing director of retained search for the SSB Group, a boutique executive search firm. As managing director at TalentRISE, he is expected to provide clients with high touch, hands-on execution of search assignments and develop new business while creating and maintaining significant relationships with executive-level candidates.

Prior to TalentRISE, Mr. Browning held positions at True Search, N2Growth and Korn Ferry. He also operated his own executive search firm, PurpleSkys. He has served clients in a wide array of industries, including healthcare, media, technology, data and analytics, financial services, professional services, real estate and consumer products.

A Respected Recruiter

A native of Atlanta, Mr. Browning is a 1992 graduate of University of California at Berkeley, where he also played football for the Golden Bears. He is an active board member on Atlanta-based organizations Gideon’s Promise and Two Sparrows Village.

Founded in 2008, TalentRISE supports companies in nearly every vertical — retail, manufacturing, technology, financial services, healthcare, life sciences, e-commerce, and more — with custom and comprehensive talent acquisition solutions. The TalentRISE leadership team includes Carl Kutsmode, Allicia Hahn and Jason Krumwiede.

Earlier this year, the firm was acquired by Aleron Group, a global workforce and business solutions company. Financial terms of the deal were undisclosed.

With the purchase, TalentRISE became part of a growing fold of Aleron brands that includes Acara SolutionsBroadleaf ResultsLume Strategies and Viaduct, among others.

Joining Forces

“Over the past decade, TalentRISE has helped businesses overcome their most pressing talent acquisition challenges through a consultative and highly tailored approach — and today, we’re excited to join forces with an organization that shares this commitment,” said Mr. Kutsmode, TalentRISE consulting practice leader.

“As our industry continues to move toward total talent solutions, we will provide a broader scope of services to customers of all Aleron companies,” said Scott Stenclik, president and CEO of Aleron. “TalentRISE’s capabilities, experience and reputation will enhance Acara Solutions’ executive search services and, in addition, strengthen Broadleaf Results’ RPO offerings.”

Prior to the acquisition, TalentRISE lost one of its key players when veteran search consultant J. James O’Malley left to become managing director in the Chicago office of Stanton Chase International.

Established in 1957, Aleron’s global brands offer consultative and complementary services that provide complete, end-to-end workforce and business solutions focused on talent, outsourcing and technology. The company said it strives to put a personal touch on contingent staffing, direct placement, payrolling, contract-to-direct and executive search services.
