Steven Douglas Associates Expands Executive Search Practice
August 7, 2015 – Recruiting firm Steven Douglas Associates has added Chris Bezick to its executive search practice. Mr. Bezick brings over 10 years in executive search expertise and 20 years in commercial real estate, corporate finance, operations and general management. Prior to Steven Douglas Associates, he founded and successfully ran a boutique executive search firm providing banking clients with recruiting services in the areas of wealth management & private banking, wholesale banking & lending, credit & risk, capital markets, marketing/originations, finance & accounting/operations, community development finance and other non-financial services. Prior to that, Mr. Bezick he was senior engagement manager and principal with West Coast-based search firm Morgan Samuels Company.
Before transitioning to executive search, he served as senior vice president at Ocwen Financial Corporation, a multi-billion dollar, publicly traded holding company engaged in a variety of businesses related to commercial and residential mortgage acquisition, servicing, and asset management. He was a co-founder of the company’s commercial real estate division, where he was instrumental in taking a start-up from three to 125 employees and a net income of $55 million within five years.
