SPMB Appoints New Partner
September 20, 2022 – SPMB, an executive search firm that helps find transformative executives throughout Silicon Valley, has named Radley Meyers as its newest partner. “Radley’s passion around the IT market, and specifically his deep knowledge of the security and data landscape, has enabled him to guide both his Fortune 500 clients as they evolve to compete in an ever-changing world, and his growth-stage clients looking to scale efficiently and successfully,“ said Mike Doonan, managing partner. Mr. Meyers established the SPMB security practice — and under his leadership, SPMB was recognized by Hunt Scanlon Media as one of the “Top 40 Cyber Technology Search Firms” in 2021 and 2022. As one of the partners leading the digital transformation practice, he also specializes in IT, product development, and data roles.
Mr. Meyers works with a variety of leading technology and tech-enabled-services companies, placing senior-level executives at venture capital-funded, private equity-backed, and publicly traded companies. Mr. Meyers brings knowledge and expertise to SPMB’s security and data-related search work, a key area for the firm. He leads both functional searches (CISO, CDO, and VP’s defining security and data strategy), and also builds out executive teams at top security software and data companies. His recent clients include Disney, Procore, Google, UiPath, TripActions, Capital One and Jumio.
Mr. Meyers recently assisted in the recruitment of placing YouTube and Google vice president Jeremy Doig as global chief technology officer of Disney Streaming. New York City-based Disney Streaming is a business unit within Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution, which delivers the company’s storytelling to audiences worldwide across theatrical, streaming, and linear platforms.

Late last year, SPMB promoted Trevor Oechsel to senior client partner. Over the past eight years at SPMB, Mr. Oechsel has closed more than 100 searches with some of the most innovative growth companies in technology. Under the mentorship of managing partner Kevin Barry, Mr. Oechsel quickly ascended through SPMB into search leadership beginning in 2019. His expertise lies within recruiting for early-stage and pre-IPO clients within infrastructure, especially security and DevOps, and he has placed key executives across the nation for: Databricks, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Talend, Snyk, Couchbase, Rancher Labs, and Venafi.
