Solomon Page Assists Presbyterian Health Plan with President Search

November 17, 2025 – New York City headquartered executive search firm Solomon Page has recruited Heather Thiltgen as the new of president of Presbyterian Health Plan at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. The national search was led by Marc Gouran, the managing director and global practice leader at Solomon Page Healthcare. She will replace Tony Hernandez as president of Presbyterian’s insurance division. “This search reinforces our deep commitment to identifying and placing exceptional leaders who accelerate impact and advancement across the healthcare industry,” Solomon Page said in a LinkedIn post. “Congratulations to Heather Thiltgen and Presbyterian Healthcare Services on this exciting new chapter.”

In a statement, Presbyterian Healthcare Services CEO Rishi Sikka called Ms. Thiltgen a “purpose-driven leader” who understands the organization’s “commitment to caring for New Mexicans, as well as the critical role we play in helping our state meet the needs of the communities we serve.”

Presbyterian Health Plan is one of four managed care organizations authorized to run the state’s massive Medicaid program. Presbyterian insures more than 540,000 total patients statewide, almost two-thirds of them through Medicaid and around a tenth through Medicare, according to Presbyterian spokesperson Kourtney Muñoz.
The Presbyterian system includes nine hospitals, as well as urgent care and specialty clinics throughout the state. Presbyterian is the state’s largest private employer, with approximately 14,000 employees, according to hospital officials.
