Sheffield Haworth Expands Asset Management Practice

November 19, 2014 – Search firm Sheffield Haworth has expanded its asset management practices with the additions of Christopher Smailes as executive director and Peter Schibli as managing director. Mr. Smailes, who will work in the firm’s New York and Hong Kong offices, comes to the firm from Eban International, a global executive search boutique specializing in conducting searches in asset and wealth management, investment banking and capital markets. With extensive experience in leadership, investment and distribution searches across multiple asset classes, he has advised global investment management firms, sovereign wealth, private equity and hedge funds on their talent acquisition requirements. Mr. Schibli, who joins Sheffield Haworth in Boston, previously ran his own firm, P.F.S. Associates, a Boston-based executive search boutique specializing in conducting searches in asset and wealth management, investment banking, capital markets, and private equity. He began his search career in 1995 and was an executive recruiter in the financial services industry with boutique firm H.I. Hunt & Company. He built his practice largely in the institutional sales and trading arena, corporate and public finance, and investment management.
