Sainty, Hird & Partners Names HR Practice Leader
September 9, 2020 – U.K.-headquartered executive search firm Sainty, Hird & Partners has appointed JP Hibbert to lead its new human resources practice.
Mr. Hibbert has 15 years’ experience in search and recruitment as a specialist in placing senior HR professionals into financial services. He has assisted a wide range of clients from small firms and start-ups looking for their first strategic HR director, to the larger global financial institutions wanting to strengthen their HR teams. Mr. Hibbert has delivered on mandates across all areas of financial services including: banking, asset management, private equity, hedge funds, insurance, re-insurance and fintech.
Concentrating on the senior end of the market, Mr. Hibbert places CHROs, HR directors, heads of HR and strategic HR business partners, as well as leadership roles in all of the specialist areas of HR including talent, recruitment, development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational design and change.
Mr. Hibbert’s appointment follows a number of other senior hires in the firm this year as it continues its London and international office expansion in the U.S., Zurich and Dublin.
Other Recent Additions
Alex Williams joined Sainty, Hird in London this past April, having previously run the equities practice at Pelham International from 2002 to 2020. He started his career in search at The Rose Partnership in 2000. In the 20 years that Mr. Williams has covered equities, he has worked across all areas within the front office – with a particular focus on research, sales and trading in both cash (high and low touch) and derivatives. He has been responsible for multiple team moves and has worked with a number of the leading banks to help build and develop their teams across the U.K. and Europe.
Juliet Garforth-Bles also joined Sainty, Hird in London having previously been a partner at Stonehaven, where she specialized in investment banking and capital markets across the buy and sell side. She originates and executes searches at all levels across investment banking both M&A advisory and sector/country coverage, DCM, ECM, structured and asset finance, leveraged finance, high yield and private equity.
Liz Duggan also joined the firm in London as partner in the board practice concentrating on non-executive appointments across a range of industries and sectors. She has 20 years of experience in executive search, completing senior-level searches in banking, markets, private equity and the corporate world, having been based in New York and London. Prior to joining Sainty, Hird & Partners in 2020, she worked at the Lothbury Partnership and Sequoia Associates.
