Riviera Partners Names Managing Partner and General Manager of Paragon

March 6, 2026 – San Francisco-based Riviera Partners, a recruitment provider specializing in C-level engineering, product, and design leader placements, has appointed Chris Rice as managing partner and general manager of Paragon, the firm’s global high-volume recruiting division supporting technology founders, leaders, and investors.

Mr. Rice previously served as partner and general manager of Paragon since 2024, leading the growing division’s work with engineering and product organizations to grow and transform teams from individual contributors through directors.

Mr. Rice, an eight-year veteran of the United States Army, joined Riviera Partners in 2020 after serving as director of talent at JUUL Labs and head of global talent acquisition, for Intel’s Artificial Intelligence Division. His extensive experience also includes talent acquisition leadership roles for engineering, R&D, data, digital, IT, and quality and regulatory organizations.

New COO

Past Acquisition

Riviera Partners also recently acquired Board and Technology (BaT). The firm’s founder Olof Pripp has joined Riviera as a partner.
