Lisa Buoy

Lisa brings a deep background in real estate recruiting on a national level, including nearly a decade of retained executive search experience in the real estate, financial, and non-profit industries. Her move to Terra, in 2011 was motivated in large part to be reunited with Matt and Stephanie, colleagues during her tenure at Ferguson Partners in San Francisco where she served for 10 years as Vice President, conducting national executive search assignments and overseeing detailed research and industry mapping projects focused exclusively in real estate and financial services.

Prior to that position, Lisa developed her search expertise through years of experience in the recruitment industry, working for Gap, Organic, and Providian Financial Corporation to recruit high-level candidates across a range of company divisions. Lisa received her B.A. in Sociology from Oregon State University. Community Commitment: A love and dedication towards children, evident by volunteering on a weekly basis in her children’s classrooms and through her past service as a mentor for at-risk youth in urban areas. Personal Passions: Traveling and exploring new places and cultures, including the experiences and life lessons from living in such dynamic cities as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Portland, Ore., and Sienna, Italy; anything to do with the outdoors, especially when it comes to sharing her love for hiking on trails, in parks, and on the beach with her children; settling down and raising a family in Marin County, CA, one of the most gorgeous part of the U.S
