She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and environmental science from Guilford College in 2016, where she researched North Carolina barrier island ecology and development. Julia also worked with the Greensboro Parks & Recreation Department at Lake Brandt Marina, where she led paddle tours and hikes as a lake activity specialist and environmental educator.
Julia still has a deep passion for the outdoors, which took her to Tampa Bay in 2019. In the heart of the Sunshine State, she forged her own path as the first fully remote Charles Aris employee. When she isn’t positioning top talent with leading consumer and retail organizations, you can find her paddling her kayak through mangrove forests, hiking through the swamp or painting the flowers she encounters on her expeditions.
Outside of the office, you can find Julia exploring North Carolina from the mountains to the coast, helping out at her family’s flower shop, and enjoying a good laugh.
