Heiko Bruhn

With a background in law, Heiko Bruhn has a passion for people and leverages his professional network by collaborating with colleagues’ across-borders and across business lines to deliver the best solutions for his clients.

Before joining GenSearch in 2017, Heiko was the Managing Director in Switzerland for a German-based Life Science Boutique firm. In addition to successfully establishing the Swiss branch he advised life science companies on the appointment of senior executives in Switzerland, France, Benelux, Germany and Spain. Heiko Bruhn is an Attorney at Law.

He graduated from the University of Freiburg / Breisgau with specialisation in Labour and Social Security Law. He joined Roche in Grenzach, Germany, as a Human Resources Manager in 1992. In 1994, he moved to Basel, Switzerland, to take on a wide range of roles within the group’s international human resources department.

Heiko’s many years of experience supporting international fields such as commercial, clinical development, medical affairs means he has strong contacts within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. In his last position at Roche, he was Deputy Head of Human Resources Switzerland. Heiko is a qualified systemic coach.
