PFM Executive Search Recruits CEO for Vancouver Children’s Society
March 1, 2017 – PFM Executive Search has placed Bernice Scholten as chief executive officer of the Vancouver Society of Children’s Centers.
Ms. Scholten brings an outstanding set of credentials and track record of working in both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors, having held senior leadership positions at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (Western Canada), Variety – The Children’s Charity, the Heart and Stroke Foundation (BC & Yukon), Best Buy and the Royal Bank of Canada. She is a respected leader with a proven ability to work closely with staff and key stakeholders in achieving organizational goals.
Ms. Scholten was selected for the post based on her abilities as a business leader, though her key skills as a strategist and tactician with an entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to translate organizational vision into executable plans seemed to push her over other contenders.
