Partners International Places Director of Learning at Consumer Reports
June 22, 2018 – Peter Movesian, SVP of executive search at New York City-based Partners International, has placed former Viacom executive Gwyneth Meeks as director of learning and development at Consumer Reports.
“Gwynn has had a great background in assisting organizations that are transforming,” said Mr. Movesian.

Ms. Meeks is an executive coach, facilitator and consultant with over 17 years of hands-on experience in learning and organizational development. Her clients and partners describe her as a coach who can be both direct and supportive. She has facilitated management and leadership workshops in the topics of feedback and coaching, delegation, executive presence, having difficult conversations, time management and productivity, negotiation and influencing, leading better meetings, listening and asking questions, leading teams and employee engagement.
Ms. Meeks formerly served as executive director of talent development at NBCUniversial, where she led the design, development and execution of all ALIGN track leadership development experiences, designed for talent at key inflection points in their careers. Before that, she was vice president of human resources and organizational effectiveness at New York & Company, where she served as strategic and collaborative business partner to the EVP of human resources, CEO and executive committee members. Prior to this, Ms. Meeks was VP of organizational effectiveness with MTV Networks (Viacom). In this role she led initiatives including change management, leadership development, succession planning, executive coaching and onboarding.

Consumer Reports is an American magazine published since 1930 by Consumers Union, a non-profit organization dedicated to unbiased product testing, consumer-oriented research, public education and advocacy. It publishes reviews and comparisons of consumer products and services based on reporting and results from its in-house testing laboratory and survey research center. The magazine accepts no advertising, pays for all the products it tests and as a non-profit organization has no shareholders.

Partners in Human Resources International (Partners International) is a New York City-based provider of career transition services, executive coaching and talent consulting. Its executive search division was formed this past January when the company added Mr. Movesian to its staff.

Mr. Movesian has over two decades of service as an HR executive from a variety of companies specializing in financial services, entertainment / media, market research, advertising, professional services, education and not-for-profit. Mr. Movesian was previously global director for talent acquisition for advertising agency Omnicom Media Group. Joining that company in 2010, he quickly built a strategic talent acquisition function from the ground up, specializing in digital recruitment.
