ON Partners Appoints Three Partners

January 10, 2022 – ON Partners has named Sean Cantarella, Nina McMaster and Alex Pelak as partners. They will support ON Partners’ growth in several sectors, including consumer, life sciences and healthcare, technology, industrial, fintech, gaming, insurance tech, aerospace and defense, and business services. “We’ve seen tremendous growth across the board over the past year, particularly in CEO, board and C-level searches,” said Tim Conti, co-founder and managing partner of ON Partners. “Sean, Nina and Alex have proven themselves to be incredibly valuable members of our team and trusted advisors to our clients, and their leadership in key growth sectors will help us continue to provide the high level of service our clients have come to expect.”

Since joining the firm in 2018, Mr. Cantarella has developed expertise in the consumer electronics, gaming, consumer applications and semiconductor sectors. He has executed on a range of high-level executive searches for clients including Lenovo, Logitech, Papa John’s, Samsara and Samsung.  Mr. Cantarella joined ON Partners from Korn Ferry where he was a recruiter and major account manager primarily working with large multinational technology companies. His career began at SoftLayer, an IBM company, where he worked on market analysis/trends before becoming a data analyst for their start-up incubator program.

Ms. McMaster joined ON Partners in 2013 and specializes in placing senior-level talent across a variety of practice areas, including life sciences, technology, and healthcare IT, and functionally in board, CIO and CTO roles. She has placed senior executives with clients including Intelycare, McAfee, McKesson, Quantum Health and RxBenefits, among others. Ms. McMaster has placed over 100 executive leaders across multiple functional areas including human resources, technology, sales, marketing and finance.

Since he joined the firm in 2015, Mr. Pelak has brought a strong focus in technology, aerospace and defense and industrial sectors. His recent work includes multiple senior-level placements for lidar, photonics, semiconductor, advanced materials, and consumer electronics clients including MTI, II-VI, APITech, Alpine Advanced Materials, Viavi and many more.  Mr. Pelak joined ON from Key Bank National Association, a more than 90-billion-dollar corporation headquartered in Cleveland. Over his career at Key, he was recognized as a high performer within every role that he held, including personal banker, licensed relationship manager and most recently branch manager, leading multiple branches totaling more than 200 million in controlled assets.

ON Partners Recruits Chief Product Officer for Glassdoor 

Consultants John Morrow and Jeff Hocking led the search that landed Andy Chen, formerly of Match Group, with Glassdoor. Mr. Chen takes the reins of the job insight provider’s product, design, and community teams, overseeing strategy, innovation, and execution across the company’s full suite of job seeker, employee, and employer products.
