Odgers Berndtson Adds Life Sciences Specialist and Research Director In New York
August 6, 2015 – Pamela Santos and Steven Payne have joined the Boston and New York offices of Odgers Berndtson from CTPartners. They join ex-CTPartners colleagues John Hawkins, Tina Veen, Paul Aldrich and Keith Macomber who are all recent additions to Odgers. Ms. Santos brings a specialization in healthcare and life sciences recruiting, while Mr. Payne will lead the research, knowledge management and analytics team for Odgers in the U.S.
With over 18 years of experience in global search specializing in the healthcare and life sciences space, Ms. Santos identifies and supports the recruitment effort of president and CEO roles as well as general management and vice president positions including marketing, sales, finance, research, commercialization, operations and technology for emerging enterprises to world leaders within the medical device, diagnostic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare IT and healthcare service- based companies.
Ms. Santos previously spent 10 years with CTPartners, most recently serving as a director. During her tenure with the firm she executed C-suite searches focused on all sectors of the life science industry, including diagnostics, biotechnology tools, medical device, pharmaceuticals and healthcare services. Prior to that, she was a vice president with Rhodes Associates where her clients included Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Parexel, OSI Pharmaceuticals and Ventana Medical Systems. She also gained executive search experience with Management Search Inc. (MSI), a privately-held search practice in New England with offices in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

He has also been instrumental in identifying talent trends and executives for a variety of senior roles within all key corporate functions. He also previously spent 10 years with CTPartners, serving as its business intelligence manager – life sciences, where he was responsible for all aspects of research and knowledge management within the life sciences and healthcare practice. Prior to that, he was a director at H.M. Long Global Healthcare.
